Timing

So in 1998 i walked up to this guy Sean I had met recently and asked the somehwhat akward question "Hey you want to go cruise around and take pictures some afternoon?" For what ever reason he said yes. 12 years later I have published my first photo book documenting a decent chunk of Sean's journey from record store clerk/pro coffee drinker to Indie Rap figurehead/pro coffee drinker. This weekend, in Minneapolis, 100 copies of the limited edition version of this book will be available at the Atmosphere shows at First Avenue. 50 copies a night. I have yet to hold it in my hands. I am kind of scared of other people being around when I finally do as the trip getting this book published has been a long and crazy one. Thank you so much to the many people involved: Kai and Andy, David and Bryan, and of course Sean, Siddiq, Jbird, Skye and all of Rhymesayers.

Its been a great month. Went to Atlanta to shoot a cover story for Respect Magazine. Waka Flocka was a gentleman and worked until the late late hours to finish the shoot. He is a hard working and dedicated soul. Thanks Monique and Casey for making it happen. Shot PACSUN in Newport Beach one day last week and froze my butt off shooting in the abandon Michigan Central Station in Detroit 2 days later. Shot the awesome and kind Evan Ross for Paper. Shot a cover for the OC Weekly and now I'm getting ready for my book release in MPLS! Thanks to all who worked with me. Much much appreciated

On The Dance Floor

My new look book for Metropark is out! My sixth one. I love looking back and thinking how a single email one day can turn into a great relationship. I love the continuing collaboration. Its like a family. To Ron and Laura and Michelle and Renee and Tate. Thanks for the great times.
